Biography of Arthur A. Zager

CCC Man, Company 1651, Camp F-137 Saugus, CA & Camp S-261 Elk River, ID

   My father Arthur A. Zager was in the CCCs in Company 1651, Camp F-137, in Saugus, California. There he worked on fire trail construction. He also served in Camp S-261 in Elk River, Idaho, where the work was road construction. Attached is his Certificate of Discharge from Civilian Conservation Corps, signed by Captain Robert R. Judson USA (Inf-Res.).
