The following information is from a CCC Footlocker with Don Mutford's name very nicely painted on it, along with his Company number Co. 282 and CCC Camp location, Ahsahka, Iowa and a small green pine tree. Inside were two starlet photos (Brunette Linda Darnell, and blonde Alice Jeanne Leppert, known as Alice Faye, both 20th Century Fox movie stars. Darnell's bio was on the back of her promotional photo, could not see the back of the other but likely there as well), and a chart from the CCCs showing how the locker should be organized. The chart is from company 3217, Camp Elgin P-229, Elgin, Oregon, Thomas A. Lee, commanding, suggesting Mr. Mutford served with that company as well. The tray that divided the locker space into an upper and lower area is missing.
