Biography of Lully Dore
CCC Man, Company 1495, Camp LA-P-76, Mandeville LA
My grandfather Lully Dore was in the CCC in Louisiana. We were going through my moms belongings and found this photo. It is not in great condition, and I could not get the whole photo on one page. He was in the Company 1495 Mandeville Louisiana.
Any information about his company, camp or service would be appreciated.

Camp View, Center, Detail, Company Roster & Company Portrait Right Side, December 5, 1940, Co. 1495, Mandeville, LA. Note the sign in front of the central structure, which is presumably the CO's office and camp headquarters, says "Visitors" on top and below "Park Here", with an arrow shape pointing to the cars parked to the right.

Company Photograph, Center, Detail, Company Roster & Company Portrait Right Side, December 5, 1940, Co. 1495, Mandeville, LA. Note Company Co and either the educational advisor or I think this is the project superintendent older man on left of CO at center. CO appears to be a CCC Subaltern as no military rank is given but not certain, his exec clearly is per roster. The exec must be other side of CO, possibly the educational advisor though he may not have been present as everyone here is in CCC attire, I do not think the doctor is present. The two men with Chef's hats are cooks. The other two men in white coats are presumably the men serving as medical attendants and first aid men for the camp and who assist the doctor when he is present.
